Beehive Mountain is massive, as it looms ahead when nearing it from the southeast on the GDT. At the very left is a hint of its ampitheature ahead. Very impressive!
The Beehive Mountain ampitheature is lit by dawn's early light as the sun begins to rise. Beehive Creek (center) tumbles down through meadows abounding with summer wildflowers.
The rising sun lights up Beehive Mountain. So pretty... with steep meadows dotted with summer wildflowers, at its base.
Ridge walking north on a perfect July mornng, views everywhere of the rugged mountains on Alberta's border with B.C.
Dawn - peaks of the Great Divide's High Rock Range are lit by the rising sun.
Nearby meadows and rugged mountains to the east, seen as one looks back when climbing to Tornado Saddle to the west. South Hidden Creek runs through the meadows in the nearby valley below.
