Beautiful purple fireweed in the recovering burn area of a 2003 forest management fire, is found along Moose River Route in this expansive mountain wilderness.
From the banks of Resplendent Creek at Resplendent Creek trail camp, to the north-northeast is the Moose River valley. Moose River bends to the left behind Trio Mountain (center left). The far distant valley beyond Trio Mountain is Upright Creek valley.
