You can find solitude out at the far end of the Harrington Creek Trail. Just you, and maybe some cows.
The trail drops (or climbs) steeply at this point down the hillside.
The Folger Ranch Loop Trail breaks off from the Harrington Creek Trail. In the afternoon and evening, you can watch the clouds roll over the hills.
Looking toward the upper reaches of the La Honda Open Space Preserve.
Cows can be found throughout the preserve, and depending on the time of the year, calves can be found with the cows. Use caution as you approach, especially if calves are present.
