Great spot for an overnight backpacking trip
The Little Blackfoot River on the Blackfoot Medows Trail.
The nature trail follows the fence line through the historic site. The national park service mows the trail, so you get to walk on nice, soft grass.
Views of the surrounding fields and countryside can be enjoyed all along the nature trail. Depending on the time of year, they may be baling hay, or stacking it.
Views of the Grant-Kohrs house and the farm yard can be enjoyed from the nature trail.
Views of the creek and surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from the nature trail.
