Coming to the Fork in the Road - Next you go left at the split to find the trailhead .
This the Main Gate - After you have parked your vehicle , you'll encounter this gate to start your adventure.
You'll encounter outcroppings of Rock Ledges at the Start .
This is the Trailhead .....check your coordinates carefully , because you can get disoriented about a third of the way in .
Much of the oak in the area is a haven for fungus ( Sapwood rot ) or ( Cerrena unicolor ) Wood below fungal shelves is yellowish to white, crumbly and decayed; bark around fungal shelves is killed and often falls off
As you travel along , you'll be close to the waters edge at certain points along the way
