There's a lot of really cool rock formations as you get higher up The Esse's Trail
This is really the first opportunity to see the lake if you're starting at the bottom of the trail...which I don't recommend. I would do this thing as a downhill, but i'm not sure if it's supposed to be directional. All the signs indicate it's uphill.

This is the second armadillo I've come across today! In the end, there will be four. No deer. No nothing else. Just armadillos. :D
There's a lot of climbing on the Esse's Trail, be prepared
most of the lake views are inhibited by trees. There's better lake views on the Table Mound trail at the end of this trail.
