Geese enjoying the lake
Of all the affected lakes in KS, this is usually one of the first every summer to have dangerous algae blooms, do not get in the water or let your dog in.
New bridge installed in 2018!
Not sure what these are, trying to identify them now...might be tiny plums?
Some of the hike is in the middle of a prairie grass field, a mix of big and little bluestem grasses.
