Rear view from Humantay Lake. The Soraypampa Trek to Humantay Lake ends in the right corner, where hikers are stopped for photos.
Spectacular views the whole way along the Salkantay Trek.
The descent was a welcome relief after the climb over the summit, and the weather improved a lot as well.
The Salkantay Trek has a few streams to cross along the way, but pretty easy to do (this picture is in late March).
The trail is rocky in parts, but fairly even and wide.
