Mingus Falls Cemetery
This is an old video about a visit to the Mingus Creek graveyard.
Moss, lichen, mushrooms, and other plants that enjoy moist climates begin to appear alongside the trail.
The Mingus Creek Trail is narrow in places, and can be covered in leaves in the Fall, as shown in this photo.
As the trail drops from the ridgeline, small creeks and washes begin to appear. Rhododendron, ferns, and other plans that prefer damp climates begin to appear.
The Mingus Creek Trail where it intersects with the Deeplow Gap Trail. This area is typical of the dry ridges found in the Smokies.
