Pico Canyon Park trail - on left of the trail, you see another opportunity to climb dirt staircase which leads into the open space and a number of crisscrossing trails.
Pico Canyon Park trail - at the 0.5 mile marker, these are the dirt steps (about 340 steps) that lead you up the top of the hill with nice view and great cardio exercise

Taylor Trail forks to right. If you choose to go on the left side, it ends up in the Open Space where there are plenty of self guided trails, but not much is marked.
