Red wood stumps, trees cut down after fire.
Polipoli trail was not long and pretty well maintained. It’s only 0.6 more one way. Then you either have to go one mile loop on plum trail or go back. You go up the mountain at first then you go down if upcoming back same way. Lots of cut down trees on the sides, stillcan see charcoaled tree trunks after fire that happened there few years ago. You won’t see much water or redwoods on that trail. Just a nice hicke and lots of birds. Stay on trail bcz edge is very soft and fall down the mountain is not good.m for you. Plan to go with either 4 WDto get there or really good car. Road is bumpy but not too bad. It takes long to drive 4 miles bcz dirt road full of potholes and very muddy. Mar 31, 2018
