One of many water crossings on the North River Gorge Trail.
Most of the trail is along quite a steep slope.
The water is not too deep, but you'll cross 8 or 9 times.
Dispersed camping is allowed without a permit. But please camp 200' from any stream or water source. And though designated fire rings are not required, be safe and use rocks to make your own fire ring.
Winter water crossings froze our toes... but was so fun.
Water was flowing just fine in January! But it dries up in mid/late summer.
