Big Island Lake is a beautiful lake that is very remote and little visited.
Peninsula Lake and Haystack Peak soak up the sun in the early evening. What looks like the opposite shore is really a long peninsula in the center of the lake.
From the climb to Fawn Lake, the view shows all of Huckleberry Lake and a panorama of the Emigrant Wilderness.
Huckleberry Lake is stunning from the southeast shore and offers fantastic swimming!
