The trail periodically treads alongside Gans Creek.
The first creek crossing along the trail is pretty straightforward. Just go slow, and watch your feet!
One of the few creek-crossings you'll encounter on this loop!
The trail follows the contours of Gans Creek through the forest in multiple places.
There are a couple of bluffs off trail that provide excellent views below. This is one of them.
