A beautiful October hike in Meramec State Park begins with leaf-covered trail in dense hardwood forests.

Toward the end of my hike in Meramec State Park, I was held captive by a snake across the trail. You have to zoom in to see it, but I'm pretty sure it was a 15 ft anaconda...
