Mount Tom [Suggest Edits]
Description
This is the highest point in Sibley State Park. From the observation tower on the summit you get (on a clear) a view of 100+ miles in all directions. The tower also houses informative plaques about the history of the park, its geological history, and the landmarks visible from it.
Short Walk: The nearest paved parking lot is approximately 200 feet from the tower. The trail to the tower is paved and accessible. The view from the tower is accessible via 2 short flights of stairs only (there is no elevator).
Family Friendly: An easily accessible high point with big views and informative plaques about the park's history and landmarks in the surrounding terrain.
