Bog Board Walk, Shell Lake, Wisconsin

Description

This elevated boardwalk allows visitors to walk safely on top of a fen. Visitors can see carnivorous plants like sundew and pitcher plants. In the fall it is magical as the tamaracks turn gold before dropping their needles.

Short Hike: The boardwalk is just a 5-10 minute hike from the parking area at Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary.
