Description

This is considered one of the most "intact" coastal defenses in the U.S. All ages will have fun exploring this WWII fort. Keep an eye out for puddles, and bring flashlights for exploring the dark underground corridors and rooms. This particular fort was built to defend the mouth of the Columbia River.

Short Walk: Multiple parking lots around.

Family Friendly: Kids will get a kick out of exploring these old sites.
