Description
Grosvenor Arch was named for Gilbert Hovey Grosvenor, president of the National Geographic Society and the first full time editor of National Geographic Magazine. Technically, the formation is a double arch towering 152 ft above the ground. The larger of the two spans 92 ft.
Short Walk: The arches are 0.1 miles from parking at the side of the Cottonwood Canyon Road. The 10 mile drive along this graded dirt road is manageable even with a low-clearance, two-wheel drive vehicle most of the time though you may encounter washboards.
Family Friendly: It's just cool in that Utah manner.
