Description

Palouse Falls is the state waterfall of Washington. At nearly 200 feet, this stunning waterfall is nestled into 105 acres of Stake Park and canyons that surround it. The quarter-mile ADA accessible hiking trail overlooks the falls and you'll find informative panels to learn about the creation of the canyon in the Ice Age Floods. While the views are stunning and un-maintained trails are abundant, be warned that venturing beyond the fenced area is at your own risk. Please be cautious and help preserve the local flora and fauna.

On the Road: The viewpoint is within immediate range of the parking lot and very easy to access. Discover Pass required or pay on-site ($10/day or $30/year). It is $12/night to camp in one of the 11 overnight camp spots available. You'll find one picnic shelter with a table and brazier, seven uncovered braziers, 15 unsheltered picnic tables, and 2-acres of picnicking area. All campsites and picnic tables are first come first served. Toilets available on-site.

Family Friendly: Easy access to viewpoint from parking lot. Handicap friendly.
