Escalante Natural Bridge [Suggest Edits]
Description
This 130 foot high natural sandstone bridge with a span of 125 feet is sure to impress. The bridge spans a side canyon which flows into the Escalante River. Unlike arches, bridges are formed by water, hence this bridge's location and classification.
Short Hike: Escalante Natural Bridge is located about a two mile hike along the Escalante River from Little Death Hollow to Highway 12 trail from the parking at the junction of the Escalante River and Highway 12.
Family Friendly: It's big, like something from a real life Western.
Gem Type: Natural Arch
