Description

Situated 2,500' above the San Juan River, Muley Point features some of the best views in the area, if not the world. Looking south, the massive sandstone towers of Monument Valley conjure memories of old western movies. To the west, the massive and sacred dome of Navajo Mountain dominates the horizon.

This is a must-visit viewpoint, especially for sunrise or sunset. Consider camping along the rim, too, as the night sky in these parts is unrivaled.

On the Road: Drive directly to the rim!

Family Friendly: An amazing viewpoint that the whole family will enjoy.
