Description
Gorman Falls is a lush waterfall amidst a fairly dry environment that feeds into the Colorado River. This unique geologic formation supports a sensitive ecosystem through its mineral rich spring water that deposits layers upon layers of delicate calcite. This calcite slowly builds the light-colored rock formations you see here. New growth provides a base for the lush aquatic vegetation found at this site.
Short Hike: ~1.5 miles on the Gorman Falls Trail.
Family Friendly: This is an easy hike that slowly heads downhill and is easy enough for most of the family.
