It is a world class backcountry attraction. Water is at a nice 99 degrees and flows at such a rate that the pools are self-scouring and remarkably clean. There are springs on both sides of the river with multiple soaking opportunities. Soak in a pool on top of a waterfall or find the hidden pocket behind the smaller waterfall.
This is privately owned but open to the public, SO FAR. Don't mess it up for the rest of us. Pack your trash out with you.
Sad that I must bring this up but for all the people that think they need a beer to be able to enjoy anything, DO NOT BRING GLASS! It is not just a stupid idea, it is inconsiderate and not cool. Trust me you'll not be the only one to claim they will be careful just before sending glass in all directions. So far the area is glass and trash free - let us keep it that way.
Short Hike: If you have a 4x4 and the weather stays dry you can park just across the river. Do not drive across, it comes with a heavy fine. Hike across if the water is not too high or enjoy the springs on your side. This is the closest you can get by car but you miss out on an incredible hike up the canyon.
Family Friendly: An adventure they will talk about for a lifetime.
Gem Type: Hot Spring
