Description

If you've come to Olympic National Park to chase sunsets, you'll definitely want to visit Ruby Beach. This popular spot is beautiful nearly every day of the year, and there's no better place to watch the sun sink into the Pacific Ocean. The unique geology of the area make for dramatic photos, as sea stacks rise from the sea and beach alike. The beach's proximity to Destruction Island only adds to the scenic views that are available from the shore.

If you're passing by near sunset, Ruby Beach makes for the perfect way to end your day in Olympic.

Short Walk: A short walk on the Ruby Beach trail.

Family Friendly: Easily accessible and located on one of the Park's main thoroughfares, this is an excellent spot for the whole family.
