It's a steady climb up to McAfee Knob but once you arrive, you'll be given some of the best views of the Shenandoah Valley (on a clear day).
The only downfall is this is a popular destination on the AT. If you are looking for your own photo standing on the actual Knob surrounding by a stellar panoramic view, you might just have to wait in line amongst other day-hikers.
