Apple Watch support

Hi all,

Are there any plans in bringing Apple Watch support to Hiking Project?

When it comes to following a trail HikingProject is second to none. Same with Elevation, no other app shows progress that well, I know exactly where I am in my climb.

It would be nice if this gets condensed into an Apple Watch app!

Kristof,

Thanks for your interest in our applications and the interest in a watch app.  We have definitely talked about adding a watch app, but we have other priorities right now that prevent us from getting to it.  If you were to have a watch app, what features would you expect to see?  How would you envision it working?

Sincerely,

Eric

Hey Eric,

I would like to see where I currently am on the map, just like the main app.

Then I would like to see elevation-wise, where I am, and what's next, again, just like the main app.

Recording shortcuts would be nice.

Then, lastly, it goes hand in hand with this one: hikingproject.com/forum/top…

Showing a GPX on the map, and then record my own version over it, so that I can upload it to HikingProject.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
