Hi - I have been trying to upload a photo from the my phone on to the hiking project app on my iphone and I have also tried to update from my mac using my chrome browser and there is no clear method on how to post a pic of my hikes suggested.

Hello Nattrac,

Thank you for reaching out! Because of the way that our app is configured, it's not currently possible to add a photo right to the app. Instead, you'll want to add the photo to the website. If you log into the site, and select the "share your trails" tab (this tab opens when you click on your profile picture), you should be able to add a photo from there. We have some of the process mapped out in our FAQ Page. If you have any additional questions, please let me know!

Best regards,
Mikhaila

That’s completely absurd. People are going to take pics with their phones and want to upload them right to the app. I hope you’re planning on changing that ASAP.

Actually, i like that i have to move the pictures from my phone to my laptop to be able to post them. It makes me stop and think if a picture is good enough, if it adds to the trail description, etc, to be worth posting and the bit of extra effort to move it.  i take a LOT of pictures, which of course i think are all great :>) but really now..... the website does not need excessive amounts of my pictures that it would probably end up getting if i wasn't forced to slow down as i move them and think more carefully if each picture was truly website worthy in some way....   just one reason for the current way being just fine .... :>)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
