Rick Swan Trail System

Overview

Swan Trails, named for Rick Swan, are designed on hundreds of acres including the shores of a beautiful Maine pond. There are beautiful views along the 0.75 miles of trail that runs along the water's edge. There's a lot of wildlife in the area including: moose, porcupine, deer, pheasant, rabbits and many others are common.

Rick Swan was an extraordinary athlete and trail builder, most of the areas around Orono, Old Town and Bangor Maine he help build and design. The trails at Swans were also designed and built by Rick. This trail system exhibits his understanding of nature and his respect for the environment.
