This is where the Twin Peaks youth go on a romantic date and listen to Julee Cruise. Now don't tell anyone, but behind the Roadhouse is the shack where I meet my fellow Bookhouse boys.
Welcome to the Double R, home of the damn good and bottomless cup of coffee and, of course, cherry pie (I have it warm and with whipped cream). Sorry, no huckleberry, no jukebox and *sigh* no Shelly.
Wilderness Survival: 3-Season Skills:
May 27 - Lake Sammamish State Park
Join REI Outdoor School for a wilderness survival class. We will provide practical tips and strategies that every outdoor traveler should know: emergency priorities; shelters; locating and accessing drinking water; and how to make your own emergency kit. You will also participate in interactive scenarios to practice and hone your skills. Details
Introduction to Mountain Biking Class - Level 1:
May 27 - King County's Duthie Hill MTB Park
On easy terrain, our instructors teach basic mountain biking techniques including shifting, braking, ascending, descending and maneuvering around obstacles. Mountain bikes are available for use in the class. Recommended for ages 14 and older. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Details
