Overview
Hawks Nest State Park is a very scenic state park with enjoyable views of New River and Hawk's Nest Lake. There are several good trails in the park such as the Loop Trail, Cliff Side Trail, and Lover's Leap Trail. There is a lodge if you want to stay overnight and also a nice lake. Babcock State Park and the New River Gorge are also located nearby.
