After the Hike: Local Favorites

Sokolowski's University Inn Chef Michael Symon once described Sokolowski's butter-soaked pierogies as "America at its finest." Order them as your main dish or a side.
Ginko Everything is over the top amazing, seared salmon belly melts in your mouth.
The South Side Chicken and waffles... Enough said!!! ;-)
2207 W 11th St, Cleveland OH — (216) 937-2288
Bourbon Street Barrel Room John lafitte rocked... The only problem is everyone kept grabbing and eating the hush puppies
Ty Fun Thai Bistro There are not a lot of places open for Lunch in Tremont, so it makes the awesome food of Ty Fun even that much more of a treat. Of course the Pad Thai is great, but Chicken Massaman Curry is best!
Aladdin's Bakery Try the chicken schwarma, it's delicious!
Barrio Great tacos, and outstanding service
Lucky's Cafe Biscuts and gravy!
Mabel's BBQ Brisket and pork spare ribs were great. Bourbon cocktails were excellent as well
Potbelly Sandwich Shop Even if the line is out the door at lunch, expect very fast, friendly service from the staff. The food is great, too!
Grumpy's Café Very warm and friendly owner and staff!
2621 W 14th St, Cleveland OH — (216) 241-5025
West Side Market Cafe Best breakfast in Cleveland!
1995 W 25th St, Cleveland OH — (216) 579-6800
TownHall OK on the weeknights, but horrid on weekends. A bouncer? With a line to get in? What is this, West 6th? #DoucheHall
1909 W 25th St, Cleveland OH — (216) 344-9400
Ohio City Burrito The shredded chicken here easily tops the dry chunky chicken they serve at the chains.
1844 W 25th St, Cleveland OH — (216) 664-0908
soho chicken + whiskey Fried green tomatoes are fab!
1889 W 25th St, Cleveland OH — (216) 298-9090
Market Garden Brewery & Restaurant The Hefeweizen is spectacular. Make sure to taste your way through all of the house beers. I recommend doing this in multiple visits.
1947 W 25th St, Cleveland OH — (216) 621-4000
Bakersfield Same quality food and drinks as there Cinci & Columbus locations. Queso is Very good. & their tacos are smaller than barrio and coastal taco which is great because you can try more of them.
2058 W 25th St, Cleveland OH — (216) 443-0460
Boaz Cafe Really good salads and bowls, cheap prices, quick service. My ideal lunch.
The Tremont Tap House Soft Pretzel w/beer cheese dipping sauce.
Heck's Cafe Voted Best Burger in Cleveland many times, it’s over 40 years old & still hopping. Try the Rocky River Burger ($10.50) w/mushrooms, Swiss cheese, bacon & sour cream. Also has a popular Sunday brunch.
2927 Bridge Ave, Cleveland OH — (216) 861-5464
