After the Hike: Local Favorites

izanami Tired of Brussels sprouts? Izanami frys the petals to a frizz and tossing the crunch with mint, lemon zest, chilies and puffed rice. A seat at the counter lets diners watch their meal being made.
Gabriel's The guac baby!
4 Banana Ln, Santa Fe NM — (505) 455-7000

Palacio Cafe Some of the best food I had while in Santa Fe. Owners very nice and genuine. This is definitely a place to go when in Santa Fe Plaza district.
209 E Palace Ave, Santa Fe NM — (505) 989-3505
Mucho Gusto The enchilada mole is amazing!
The Shed Order Red not Green here. The Green is great, but the Red is outstanding.
113 E Palace Ave, Santa Fe NM — (505) 982-9030
The French Pastry Shop No prices on menus, doesn't accept credit cards, unfriendly service. We left instead of eating here. No reason to pay for bad service especially not knowing prices first.
The Plaza Cafe Downtown Save room for dessert.....their Coconut pie is the BEST
54 Lincoln Ave, Santa Fe NM — (505) 982-1664
Cafe Pasqual's When tackling Pasqual’s breakfast chorizo burrito or nearly anything else on the menu, it is helpful to ask for the restaurant’s red chiles—sweet, smoky, and complex.
Sazon Amazing for groups, service was incredible and coordinated impeccably. Chef visited our tables to explain the dishes and even allowed our group to sample all of the Moles before choosing entrees.
Il Vicino Order at the counter and find a seat. Your pizza and drinks will be brought to your table. Great wood fired pizza!
Jinja Bar & Bistro Love the ahi tuna and 3 kinds of ginger! Great place to meet with family & or large group of friends.
Atrisco Cafe & Bar They charge for EVERYTHING! Chips, salsa, sopapillas...everything! Way too much money for not nearly enough food. Employees were very rude also!
Cowgirl Grill Only place in Santa Fe with kiddie area?
Radish And Rye The best old fashion cocktail I've had. Hands down. Great menu in a lovely historical home.. pork belly/polenta/mushrooms/tahini spicy cauliflower..
548 Agua Fria St, Santa Fe NM — (505) 930-5325
Vinaigrette You NEED to eat the pancetta-wrapped asparagus. Dooo it!
La Choza If you love spicy this is the place to be! Red and green chile were both super tasty, the blue corn enchiladas didn't disappoint, and the posole is delicious!
905 Alarid St, Santa Fe NM — (505) 982-0909
Tune-Up Cafe One of Santa Fe's gems. Remember to wipe the drool from your mouth before you leave.
1115 Hickox St, Santa Fe NM — (505) 983-7060
