Overview

Scotts Bluff National Monument is a historic area with a nice visitor center and great views of the Oregon Trail. From the top of the bluffs, there are good views of the Platte River valley. The Chimney Rock and Courthouse and Jail Rock historic sites are also not far from the Scotts Bluff National Monument.
