Overview
Chemin-a-haut State Park near Bastrop, Louisiana is an under-used jewel in north Louisiana. It's a beautiful place and sparkling clean. There are basically two trails although the park's website lists a third that was mostly destroyed after logging. This is not an unattractive area though. The longest trail is the horse trail at 8.0 miles. The other is an out-and-back 1.1 mile straight-shot.
