Description
Via degli Abati is a historical trail that connects the cities of Pavia, Bobbio and Pontremoli. It existed during the early middle ages and was used by pilgrims as an alternative to via Francigena to visit the tomb of San Colombano.
The trail can be broken up into smaller sections:
Pavia - Broni - Colombarone km 18
Colombarone –Francia km 10
Francia – Canevino km 7
Canevino - Pometo km 3
Pometo – Caminata km 4
Caminata - Grazzi km 14
Grazzi – Sassi Neri km 6
Sassi Neri - Bobbio km 6
