A 4-mile introduction to the beautiful ravines and creeks adjacent to Eagle Creek Reservoir with Bald Eagles and nest.

The 56th St Bear entrance is undergoing renovation with a new gate with a short ADA trail under construction.

This is the short loop from the 56th St Bear entrance on the West side of reservoir using the original trail network out and the new 'trunk' connector trail back. The original singletrack dirt trails going North are comprised of wooded short ups and downs as it works it way along the reservoir opting to the right of the many inner social connecting trails.

At approx 1.7m take a left turn up the hill versus continuing straight along the bottom. This left turn will take you 0.3m to the new southbound trunk trail which is a wider, gentler dirt trail with bridges and a more graceful wandering through the woods. There are currently two unfinished steep ravines to traverse which have construction markings for possible stairs.
