Description

This trail is the second of two short trails that connect Gorton Creek Trail #408 to Nick Eaton Trail #447. It is best used to make a loop with those two trails, which would be approximately 8.5 miles. The wooden signs at the Gorton Creek Trail #408 intersection were destroyed in the 2017 fire and have not been replaced as of mid 2019, but a metal diamond trail marker survives. The trail climbs at a very steep grade the entire time through trees that mostly survived the burn, and the trail is still visible. The only view is at a small avalanche area about half way along. Trail signs are in place at the Nick Eaton Trail #447 intersection.
