Description

This trail is in the middle of the park so you'll have to take a mix of other trails to get to it. It is not a multi-use trail so no horses are allowed on it, but the trails on both ends of it are equestrian-friendly. It is smooth well-made singletrack that winds through typical PNW forest and ferns. It climbs a fair amount compared to it's length, but the grade is well managed by switchbacks so it's not too bad. This trail ends near the Hamilton Mountain shoulder, which offers excellent views of the Gorge, Adams, Table Mountain, and Hood, but this trail itself has no views. It gets way less traffic than Hamilton Mountain Trail so consider using it to make a loop or as an alternative route up.
