This trail provides a short way to access the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Trail #1470 from a forest road on the east side of the divide. It is not often maintained and may be hard to follow. Once it reaches Hole-in-the-Ground, you might lose it among other trails that intersect in this area. Be prepared to do some navigating and route-finding to intersect either the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Trail #1470 or the Buck Canyon Trail #1046. There are campsites (but not necessarily water sources) at Hole-in-the-Ground.
