Need to Know

It is much easier to access the trailhead from I-75 and Norma than via Route 116 from Oliver Springs.

Description

This section of the Cumberland Trail has two steep up and down sections and minimal ridgeline hiking. It is a nice creek-side trail at the beginning and end. It is well-marked with white blazes, but could use more foot traffic. The trail is partially on ATV roads.

Flora & Fauna

Squirrels, deer, elk in the area. Iris, trillium, ladyslipper all seen this May.
