Description

This trail begins at the parking lot on Gunnison Road. It continues across a steep glade and down into a hollow on a rocky, but well-marked trail. There's a small waterfall and drainage creek to cross at the halfway point. Nearing the end of the trail is the "Bear Cave", which appears to be a three foot hole in the ground that opens into a small chamber.

Note that black bears have been sighted in this area. Take appropriate precautions and keep a close watch on children and pets.
