Features River/Creek · Waterfall

Family Friendly A flat and easy quarter mile stroll.

Fall River is open to fly fishing only.

Description

This is a flat, roughly quarter mile-long stroll through a Lodge Pole Pine forest to a scenic cascade. Fall River is also popular for fly fishing.

The best access for the trail to the falls is the parking lot on the north side of the river. From the parking lot, head east along Fall River Falls Trail. The trail parallels the river all the way to the falls and, shortly before reaching the cascade, passes by historic cabin ruins. It isn't terribly impressive, only a few logs high, and there is no signage to offer information about the site. The falls are much more impressive

Note: The parking lot on the south side of the river is primarily for anglers.

Flora & Fauna

Lodge Pole Pine forest on land; Brook Brown and Rainbow trout in the water.
