Description

This is a great trail for an easy hike. There are no cars and great views and lots of deer watching you hike by. The trail is rarely busy and the long hike out to the point is a great location to see deer, fox, birds, turtles, lizards and, yes, an occasional snake.

The rolling asphalt lets you "zone out" in a way that is hard to do on a woodland trail. The trail is almost entirely shaded so its great during the summer. Also, if you are not much of a hiker and want to give it a try this might just convince you how great it can be to hike in the woods and entice you try harder trails.
