Family Friendly There is a great creek and waterfall for kids to enjoy, and a nice campsite above the falls.

Description

This trail leads from Snowbird Creek Trail to beautiful Sassafras Falls. There are large campsites at the base of the trail on Snowbird Creek and above the falls near the trailhead for Burntrock Ridge Trail #65A. This trail can be combined with Burntrock Ridge Trail and Snowbird Creek Trail to make a nice "waterfall" loop tour of Big Falls, Middle Falls, and Sassafras Falls.

For more information on my experience on this trail and others in the Snowbird area, visit Uphill Hikes.
