Trail 5 a short trail that takes your from a parking lot to an old railroad tunnel. From there it then heads around the tunnel to another parking lot.
This is a very fun and scenic trail, despite its short length. There are some interesting shaped cliffs along this trail, as well as the famed tunnel (which is closed between Nov. 1 - Apr. 30). The tunnel is very fun to hike through, though be aware it is pitch black halfway through, and there is a small waterfall and pool on the inside. Bring a flashlight and be on the lookout of cave spiders, bats, and red spotted-tail salamanders. Furthermore, this trail overlooks Tunnel Falls, the tallest waterfall in the state park, and one of the tallest in Indiana.
