“A gradual climb through tight forest on easy singletrack.
”
Easy Street is one of the longer trails on the west side of the South Marquette trail system. The trail is an overall climb with a few short descents. Throughout the trail the forest is lush with dense trees and moderately thick understory.
Easy Street starts at an intersection with Pipe Dreams and Carp Eh Diem, climbing gradually to the west into a small drainage. The trail loops back on itself a couple of times as it climbs to the ridge above the Carp River.
The highest point of Easy Street is just past midway through the trail. From there, the trail undulates and alternates between short sections of descending and climbing.
