From the intersection with the Moon Point Trail #3688, continue south for a descent that has switchbacks, open meadows, exposed singletrack, ridge views, and smooth sections of trail.

Take in the amazing views of the sheer face of Youngs Rock from far below and navigate a short scree section. The trail crosses a few dirt roads and a small clearing where the trail is quite steep at times. A winding segment takes you back into the forest along the last mile before ending back at FR 21.
