Description

This trail is a great one to get a view of the surrounding area!

The trail is popular, so get an early start to beat the crowd. We started at 7am and shared the top with a half-dozen people. On the way down, we passed an unending stream of hikers working toward the top.

There is a wonderful view and a bench for resting before the last leg of the trail up. While this last leg is steep, know that a suite of gorgeous, panoramic views awaits you from the top of the mountain.

If you'd like to rest your legs, take a dip in the hot springs after your hike for a small fee.

Flora & Fauna

Black bear, grouse, and ravens roam this area.
