Family Friendly While it can be steep at times, this trail is short enough that older kids won't be too tuckered out.

Description

The Sierra Club Loop, also called Sierra Club Trail, starts off at the top of Elk Camp Gondola. It follows what looks like a work road and then splits as you begin your journey up the mountain. There are some watery spots from streams that the trail goes through, but they are countered by lovely views from the open part when the trail breaks out of the trees. Once at the highest point of the loop, you can connect with the Summit Trail or continue on with the loop.
